Special 4-Week rise up session for families and singles!
We know it is easy to grow discouraged in the midst of canceled events, adjusted travel plans and social distancing requirements. But what if, wrapped up in the midst of these challenges, God is giving your family an opportunity to go deeper than ever before in your relationship with Him and each other?
With this goal in mind, we are excited to announce that we are offering a free 4-week online family discipleship opportunity! Normally Rise Up has been just for individuals to attend but for the first time ever we wanted to open this special session up to the whole family to do together.
The section of the Rise Up course that we will do during this time will be: Rise Up and Know. This section focuses on you and your relationship with the Lord. This opportunity is open to families that are experiencing extra time at home and want to use that time constructively to invest in their relationship with the Lord and each other. It is also open to individuals that want to spend 4 weeks being encouraged to deepen their walk with God.
We know that this season may be a challenging time for your family financially so we want to offer you these 4 weeks of the Rise Up course completely free!

This special 4-week Rise Up session will begin on April 6th and finish on May 4th.

Please note: Rise Up is normally a 12-week program. This special free course is limited to just 4 weeks of the Rise Up course and covers the section: “Rise Up and Know.” The other two sections, “Rise Up and Engage” and “Rise Up and Build,” will not be included in this free course.

How Does it work?
You can find out more information generally how the Rise Up program works by clicking the “about” tab at the top of this page. But you may be wondering: how will this program work for a family to do together? After your family signs up, you will be given a login to the course and assigned to a team with a discipleship coach. As part of participating in the Rise up course as a family you will:
- Watch powerful, engaging weekly training videos that will encourage your family in your walk with God.
- Participate in a weekly group meeting hosted by your discipleship coach. The group meetings will be done via an online tool like Skype or Google Hangouts to provide encouraging fellowship with like-minded families while still following necessary social distancing.
- Read sections of the course workbook as a family that will be made available to you online as PDFs. You can print these files, give them out to the members of your family and they can answer thought provoking study questions. Working through these study questions will help your family process the information being shared.
- Grow together in your relationship with the Lord. Finally, one of the most important parts of the Rise Up program is the Rise Up Challenge. This includes a daily Bible reading plan, Scripture meditation assignment, and prayer time.
